TRIGGERPOINT ANATOMY

Sheets of tissue, lumps or strings that feel hard or slick when pressed upon are ‘Triggerpoints’. Pressure may cause some pain to the client.

Physical, emotional or chemical trauma of our life is held in our body 24 hours a day and obstruct the flow of vital energy (ki / chi). They affect subconsciously our thinking, feeling and acting. At some point we will experience these stored traumas as pain in the soft tissue, the Triggerpoint. Giving slight pressure on these Triggerpoints the person clearly re-experiences the memorized underlying traumatic pain and releases it. This leads to a free flow of energy and a higher level of awareness.

In releasing these Triggerpoints we release toxic elements into our lymphatic system. Suggestion: Drinking lots of water brings the full relief.
